I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and helping to minimise downtime across the site. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime Working on a range of manufacturing and production machinery Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability Completing maintenance records and reporting faults Working closely with the production team Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures The Shift Pattern The role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern: Mornings → Afternoons → Mornings → Afternoons → Nights The Candidate We're looking for a multi-skilled engineer who has: Previous experience within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills Experience fault-finding on industrial machinery A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC A proactive approach to maintenance and breakdown response Good communication and problem-solving skills What's On Offer? £45,000 salary Structured 3-shift rotation Permanent position Established manufacturing environment Opportunity to develop your engineering skills Hands-on, varied maintenance role Location: Corby If you're an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer and are interested in finding out more, apply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation
