Control Systems Engineer β Wales & South West Location: Covering Wales and the South West (home-based with travel) Salary: Β£50,000 + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeA well-established systems integrator is looking for a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join their team, delivering automation and control solutions to a variety of clients across Wales and the South West . This is a field-based role involving the full lifecycle of control system projects β from design and programming to commissioning and support.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop PLC-based control systems using platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000Configure and deploy SCADA/HMI systems including Siemens WinCCLead commissioning activities on customer sites, ensuring systems function to specificationProduce supporting technical documentation including FDS, SDS, and test protocolsCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project requirementsConduct thorough testing and support integration of systems in live environmentsProvide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting where requiredAbout You:HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control EngineeringStrong background in PLC programming and SCADA integrationExperience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley systemsFamiliar with industrial communications (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet etc.)Comfortable working independently and on customer sites across the regionFull UK Driving Licence is essentialThis is an ideal opportunity for an experienced control systems engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and delivering high-quality automation solutions across multiple industries.TPBN1_UKTJ
