Commercial Specification Engineer ?? Telford ?? Full-time, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week) We\’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in the window systems industry, for an experienced Commercial Specification Engineer to join their growing technical team.

The Role Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you\’ll play a key part in supporting specification managers and customers with design services, ensuring the correct products are used and meet Building Regulations.
This is a varied role that combines technical expertise, customer support, and the opportunity to deliver seminars and training sessions.
Key Responsibilities Prepare technical drawings and sketches for window system products Produce manufacturing cutting sheets and drawings Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to customers Manage one-off conservatory designs, calculations, and load-bearing elements Deliver internal and external technical seminars/CPDs on window systems, installation, and compliance Respond to customer queries on energy ratings, construction, costs, Building Regulations, and product performance Support Technical Sales meetings with customers and stakeholders About You To succeed in this role, you\’ll need: Minimum 2 years\’ experience in fabrication and installation Strong knowledge of window systems and related standards Proficiency with AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access Experience conducting site surveys and site management A full UK driving licence Personal Attributes Detail-oriented with a clean and methodical approach to work Punctual, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication and customer-facing skills Positive, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment What\’s in it for you?
