We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting manufacturing clients across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- UK-wide field service role (client base mainly North West & South East)
- Service, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing machinery
- Work on conveyors, motors, and pumps; hydraulics & pneumatics; sensors, relays, drives & inverters; single & three-phase systems
- Fault-finding on cutting machines
- Basic work with Beckhoff & Bosch control systems
- Occasional welding/fabrication work
- Mix of electrical & mechanical work (approx. 50/50 or 60/40 either way)
What We Are Looking For:
- Apprentice trained (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Previous field service experience is essential
- Electrical or mechanical bias (electrical preferred if not 50/50)
- Basic knowledge of Beckhoff & Bosch controls
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Window industry experience is a bonus (not essential)
Benefits:
- £40,000‑£45,000 basic salary
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (weekends)
- Realistic OTE: £50,000+

- Standard hours: 08:00‑17:00 (days)
