The Role As Technical Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary technical team responsible for product design, manufacturing and engineering.
This is a highly influential position, working closely with senior leadership to develop future manufacturing capability, implement a new ERP system and support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and CNC Programmers.
Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to production.
Take ownership of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety.
Develop technical strategy to support future business growth and increased production capacity.
Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, HSE and Commercial teams.
Manage factory layout planning, process optimisation and CAPEX projects.
Support the implementation and ongoing development of a new ERP system.
Own engineering standards, technical governance and change management processes.
Mentor and develop the technical team, identifying skills gaps and supporting career development.
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering or CNC Programming.
Proven experience delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
Experience planning manufacturing layouts, process flow and production efficiencies.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
Experience managing departmental budgets and technical projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
ERP or MES implementation experience would be advantageous.
What's on Offer Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience.
Monday-Friday working pattern (36-hour week).
