We're working with a well-established engineering business that specialises in the service, repair, and installation of industrial pump systems across a wide range of sectors including water treatment, manufacturing, and utilities. They are now looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer (Pumps) to their growing team.

The Role

  • As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various pump systems on customer sites.
  • You'll work both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently.
  • Servicing and repairing centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on-site.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Installing and commissioning new pump systems.
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers.
  • Completing accurate service reports and documentation.

About You

  • We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in field-based work.
  • Experience working with industrial or commercial pump systems.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
  • A background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • IPAF Certification.
  • Confined Space Training.
  • 18th edition Electrical Competency.
