An established and growing engineering business is looking to recruit a Mechanical Bias Service Engineer to join their team based in the HD6 area. The Role
As a Mechanical Bias Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of specialist mechanical equipment. Working both on-site and at customer locations, you will ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repair work on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues.
- Install and commission machinery at customer sites.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
The Candidate
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A strong mechanical engineering background.
- Previous experience in a service, maintenance, or field engineering role.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Applicants must live within one hour of the HD6 area.
