This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager or an Engineering Team Leader/Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career. As Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing and motivating the engineering team.
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Delivering engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion.
- Driving continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Working closely with Production, Technical and Operations teams to improve site performance.
- Managing engineering budgets, contractors and spare parts where required.
- Ensuring all engineering activities comply with health & safety and food safety standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience managing or supervising an engineering team.
- Proven experience delivering engineering or capital projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change.
- A recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) is desirable.
