The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional looking to take the next step in their career with a company that values leadership, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
As the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives.
Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across the shift.
Monitor product quality and ensure all procedures and standards are followed.
Coordinate staffing levels and allocate work effectively.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive process efficiencies.
Work closely with engineering, quality and warehouse teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
Complete shift handovers, production reports and relevant documentation.
Support the training and development of team members.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader position within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Experience working to production KPIs and targets.
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing.
Comfortable working a continental shift pattern.
