We are working in partnership with a leading provider of CNC woodcutting and woodworking machinery to recruit an experienced CNC Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that supports customers across the joinery, furniture, and timber processing sectors.
The Role: As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of advanced CNC woodcutting machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will provide first-class technical support, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Installation, commissioning and servicing of CNC woodcutting equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and software faults.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise machine performance and reliability.
- Providing technical support and training to customers.
- Producing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Representing the company professionally on-site at all times.
About You: Proven experience working with CNC machinery, ideally within woodworking or timber processing. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Knowledge of PLC systems and control panels is highly desirable. Comfortable with UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays. A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
The Package: Salary £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience. Overtime opportunities and expenses covered. Company vehicle, laptop and phone provided. Ongoing training and development. Long-term career progression with a respected industry leader.
