A well-established and growing food manufacturing business is seeking a proactive QHSE Officer to support and drive standards across quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of QHSE systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and support corrective and preventative actions
- Assist with maintaining certifications and accreditations (e.g. ISO standards)
- Promote a positive safety culture across the site
- Deliver training and guidance to employees on QHSE matters
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a QHSE, HSE, or quality-focused role within manufacturing or production
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and quality systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) desirable
