Fault Finding Engineer in Andover

Fault Finding & Reliability Engineer £45,000 - £55,000 | Andover | Days | 40 hours We're looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and getting to the root cause of issues. You'll be working with machinery, identifying recurring faults, fixing them properly and finding ways to prevent them happening again. The Role Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control-system faults Carry out root cause analysis and investigate recurring failures Improve machine reliability and reduce downtime Recommend and implement preventative maintenance, upgrades and modifications Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams Develop maintenance schedules and servicing procedures Analyse fault trends and identify opportunities for improvement Provide occasional support at other sites when required - very limited travel We're Looking For Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience with machinery, automation, control systems or industrial equipment A methodical approach to diagnostics and root cause analysis Experience with wiring, control panels and machine assembly Knowledge of sensors, motors, drives, relays and machine-control components Basic C++ knowledge is desirable, or willingness to learn Preventative maintenance/improvement experience is advantageous Strong communication and customer-facing skills Full UK driving licence Package £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience Overtime / shift allowance available Profit share 40 hours per week, days Based within a commutable distance of AndoverIf you're the kind of engineer who doesn't just fix the fault, but wants to understand why it happened and make sure it doesn't happen again, we'd like to hear from you
