Shift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer in Wellingborough

Job Description Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm Shift: Days Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday days-based role with a well-established manufacturing business? We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical maintenance background, with the flexibility to be slightly biased towards either discipline. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping a range of manufacturing machinery and site equipment running efficiently, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Repairing and maintaining production machinery Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment A strong mechanical or electrical maintenance background Multi-skilled maintenance experience A recognised engineering qualification such as Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent would be advantageous A mechanical bias with some electrical capability, or an electrical bias with some mechanical capability, will both be considered.
