We're recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Tamworth for a skilled Toolmaker to join their engineering team. This is a permanent role working a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance and a competitive salary of £38,868.
?? The Role:
You'll be working in a busy manufacturing environment, supporting production by manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tooling and associated components to a high standard. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, quick thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
?? Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and repair tools and components using tool room machinery

Respond quickly to tooling breakdowns to keep production on track

Work from technical drawings or replicate existing parts

Repair and modify extrusion and mould tools

Support the maintenance team when needed

Assist with tooling-related production issues and recovery
