The Role

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a well-established industrial manufacturing site. This is a days-based role offering a stable working environment, strong overtime opportunities and the chance to work on a wide range of plant and equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment through both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs while supporting operational efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance and refurbishment of machinery.
  • Support production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of operational processes and equipment.
  • Supervise contractors and visitors on site when required.
  • Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotational basis (evenings/weekends).

  • AC motors and drives
  • Inverters and relays
  • Single and three-phase electrical systems
  • PLC fault finding (basic level)
  • Mechanical components including chains, belts and bearings

Candidate Requirements

  • Multi-skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias
  • Electrical qualification (minimum Level 2) - Apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Strong experience in Electrical fault finding
  • Experience working with motors, drives, PLC systems and electrical drawings
  • Background in heavy industry, manufacturing, or engineering environments
  • Good troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
