Commercial Specification Engineer ?? Telford ?? Full-time, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)

We\’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in the window systems industry, for an experienced Commercial Specification Engineer to join their growing technical team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you\’ll play a key part in supporting specification managers and customers with design services, ensuring the correct products are used and meet Building Regulations. This is a varied role that combines technical expertise, customer support, and the opportunity to deliver seminars and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and sketches for window system products
• Produce manufacturing cutting sheets and drawings
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice to customers
• Manage one-off conservatory designs, calculations, and load-bearing elements
• Deliver internal and external technical seminars / CPDs on window systems, installation, and compliance
• Respond to customer queries on energy ratings, construction, costs, Building Regulations, and product performance
• Support Technical Sales meetings with customers and stakeholders
