We are currently recruiting for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a growing engineering team within a busy FMCG packaging and distribution environment. The business is expanding and investing in its engineering function, offering excellent long-term progression opportunities within a well-structured maintenance team.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of automated production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum plant availability and performance. While an electrical bias is preferred, candidates with a strong mechanical background will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery
- Respond to reactive breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Maintain and repair automated bagging, conveying, and packaging equipment
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Work collaboratively with production teams to maintain operational efficiency
- Relevant engineering qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Previous experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- Experience working with automated production machinery
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Work alongside a team of 5 engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
