An established engineering services business is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support installation, maintenance, and servicing activities across sites throughout the UK. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, variety in their working environment, and nationwide projects. The position involves regular UK travel with 2-3 nights away per week on average (not every week), depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, assembly, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems
  • Door Installation Experience
  • Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Carrying out fault-finding, adjustments, and mechanical repairs on site
  • Use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively
  • Supporting site activities to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Complying with all health safety procedures and site regulations
  • Completing job documentation, reports, and other paperwork as required
