Job Description

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)

Location: Rochester / Kent

Salary: £45,000 – £53,000 per annum

Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

We're excited to be hiring Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers for an industry-leading company in the Swanley area. If you've got hands-on maintenance experience in FMCG or Manufacturing, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

  • Fault finding on PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley – desirable)

  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and valves

  • Diagnosing issues with chains, belts, bearings, sensors, relays, and drives

  • Collaborating with a motivated team that has a strong can-do attitude

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent qualification)

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG)

  • A strong mechanical or electrical bias with a multi-skilled approach

  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with solid troubleshooting skills
