An established manufacturing business in Bedford is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team. This role offers a mix of hands-on engineering, machinery support, and process improvement within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow cGMP and relevant Standard Operating Procedures at all times
- Ensure prompt repair and maintenance of all plant and machinery
- Carry out machine changes correctly and efficiently
- Advise on the most productive use of machinery
- Assist in investigating complaints and preventing recurrence
- Complete all GMP documentation, including machine logs and repair/modification records
- Support preparation of quotations with technical input
- Attend and contribute to daily scheduling meetings
- Assist with training and development of training programmes as required
