An established and highly respected engineering manufacturer based in the Tonbridge area is looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their growing workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding business that specialises in bespoke stainless-steel fabrication, structural metalwork, and precision engineering projects for commercial and industrial sectors.
This is a hands-on fabrication position where you will be involved in projects from start to finish. The company operates a "one person, one job" approach, allowing engineers to take ownership of their work throughout the manufacturing process.
- MIG and TIG welding
- Stainless steel vessel fabrication
- Sheet metal and plate work
- Stainless steel pipework fabrication
- Structural steel fabrication including occasional machine work and rare site installation work when required
Requirements:
- Around 8 years' hands-on fabrication and welding experience
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
Salary between £29,000 - £38,000 depending on experience with overtime opportunities available. This is a permanent day shift role with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, and training provided including overhead crane training, forklift training, and working at heights training.
This is a genuine long-term opportunity with progression potential. Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm.
