CV Technical are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing manufacturer where you'll play a key role in maintaining site equipment, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Support continuous improvement activities to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Work closely with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimise disruption
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning projects
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Manage and monitor critical spare parts stock levels
- Support root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, 18th Edition or equivalent
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills with good mechanical knowledge
- Experience working with PLC fault finding and diagnostics
- Previous experience using CMMS systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability
