Job Description Engineering Manager Salary: £50,000 + Profit & Performance Bonuses Shift: Days CV Technical are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in Glossop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or Engineering Supervisor looking to take ownership of an engineering function within an established and successful business. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting the continued improvement of the site. Leading, managing and developing the engineering team Managing engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives Managing contractors, engineering resources and budgets Ensuring all engineering activities are completed safely and in line with company standards Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and overall engineering performance The successful Engineering Manager will ideally have: Previous experience as an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams A proactive and hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving A relevant engineering qualification Profit-related bonus ~ Performance-related bonus ~ Opportunity to lead and develop an engineering function ~ Career development within an established manufacturing business If you are an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge in a days-based position, please apply today.
