Pump Stores Engineer Gainsborough
Salary: £35,838.12 per annum
Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:00pm | 40 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Pump Stores Engineer to join a well-established engineering operation based in Gainsborough .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in engineering stores, inventory management and pumps , looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role.
The Role
- Manage engineering stores and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Organise, control and maintain stock of engineering parts and equipment
- Support the maintenance team by ensuring the correct parts are available when required
- Maintain accurate records using a CMMS system
- Carry out general stores duties while maintaining strong 5S standards
- Work with pneumatic pumps and associated engineering equipment
- Ensure the stores area remains organised, efficient and compliant
About You
- Previous experience working within engineering stores
- Experience working with pneumatic pumps is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of stores and inventory management
- Good computer skills and previous experience using a CMMS system - Parana preferred
- Strong organisational skills with a good understanding of 5S
- Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of an engineering team
