Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a CNC Service Engineer to join a well-established machine tool business with an excellent reputation within the manufacturing sector. This role offers a mix of field service and occasional site-based work, providing variety and the opportunity to work on a range of CNC machinery across multiple industries. The Role
As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of CNC machine tools at customer sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on CNC machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising customer downtime
- Installing and commissioning new machinery
- Working on CNC controls, drives, motors, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Producing detailed service reports
- Providing excellent customer support and technical advice
The Candidate
We are keen to speak with engineers who have experience within:
- CNC machinery
- Machine tools
- Industrial maintenance
- Field service engineering
- Manufacturing or production environments
You will ideally possess:
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol (advantageous)
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
