A well-established engineering services organisation with a long-standing presence in the industry is seeking a Site Mechanical Manager to support both office-based operations and on-site activities. This role involves overseeing a small team of engineers working across multiple client locations, carrying out maintenance and repair work on a wide range of industrial equipment, including motors, pump systems, and other mechanical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of field-based engineers
- Visit client sites to assess technical requirements and diagnose issues
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for proposed work
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project progress
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Oversee staff development, including performance reviews and training plans
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems, including pumps and motors
- Electrical knowledge or background preferred
- Previous experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role
