Job Description Production Shift Supervisor Salary: £16.95 per hour Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Elland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor or Team Leader who enjoys being hands-on and leading from the front. You will support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of production, ensuring people, processes and products continue to flow efficiently throughout the shift. The business is continuing to grow, making this a great time to join a busy manufacturing operation with opportunities to develop your skills and progress internally. Support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day performance of the production team Lead and coordinate employees across the shift, ensuring production targets and standards are achieved Identify and resolve production and quality issues wherever possible Ensure products are manufactured to the correct specifications and quality standards Monitor waste, changeovers and general production performance Complete line checks, production paperwork and effective shift handovers Ensure finished goods are transferred to the correct storage locations ready for shipping Maintain excellent 5S and housekeeping standards throughout the production environment Support a positive, safe and efficient working environment across the shift Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor or Production Team Leader Strong experience within a manufacturing or production environment Previous experience leading and supporting production teams Good understanding of manufacturing and production standards Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with production and quality issues Good understanding of SOPs, policies and procedures A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team when required If you are an experienced Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader looking for your next opportunity within a growing manufacturing environment, please apply with an up-to-date CV for further information.
