Job Description

? Electrical Engineer – PLC / Motion Control | £35,000-£50,000 DOE | Days | Perm

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming, electrical systems, and ideally motion and simulation technology. This is a full-time, day-shift role with an industry leader undergoing team growth.

The Role Includes:

  • PLC programming (experience essential)

  • Working with inverters, motors, single & three-phase systems

  • Electrical design (package can flex to your strengths)

  • Exposure to motion & simulation systems (advantageous)

  • "Work until the job is done" approach

  • Opportunities to work abroad

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years' electrical engineering experience (advantageous)

  • Strong hands-on and technical problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to take ownership and deliver to deadlines

Training & Progression:

  • On-site training available

  • Progression opportunities based on performance

  • Report directly to the Engineering Manager

  • Team includes 2 electrical & 4 mechanical engineers

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000-£50,000 DOE

  • Pension: 3% employer contribution

  • Life Assurance: 3x annual salary

  • Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:45, Fri 08:00-13:00

  • Location: Site-based
