Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Shift Allowance (x1.3)

Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts - 6am-6pm

Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays

The Role

We are recruiting for 2 Maintenance Engineers to join a busy food manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on engineering role working across a fast-paced production environment, supporting machinery uptime, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment
  • Working on: Conveyors, Freezers, Pumps, Motors, Control Panels, 3 Phase Motors
  • PLC fault finding, primarily on Allen Bradley systems
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
  • Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to food manufacturing standards

Experience / Skills Required

  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing
  • Experience with PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley advantageous)
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering skills
  • Strong fault-finding abilities across automated machinery
  • Food manufacturing background advantageous

Training & Progression

  • PLC training provided
  • Clear progression opportunities into in-house supervisory roles
  • Supportive engineering structure with: 8 Engineers onsite, Approximately 30 people on the shop floor
