Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000
Location: Corby
Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment?
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and helping to minimise downtime across the site.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
- Working on a range of manufacturing and production machinery
- Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability
- Completing maintenance records and reporting faults
- Working closely with the production team
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
The Shift Pattern
The role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
Mornings Afternoons Mornings Afternoons Nights
The Candidate
We're looking for a multi-skilled engineer who has:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
- Experience fault-finding on industrial machinery
- A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC
- A proactive approach to maintenance and breakdown response
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
