We are supporting a growing, multi-site manufacturing business in hiring a Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
You will play a key role in maximising equipment reliability and supporting production targets across both electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and support production teams
- Conduct routine equipment inspections
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment
- Follow health and safety standards
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (e.g. PLCs, hydraulics, motors, conveyors)
