Job Description Engineering Manager Shift: Sunday - Thursday | Days A well-established food manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering department with the appointment of an Engineering Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager or an Engineering Team Leader/Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career. The business is continuing to invest in its people, equipment and processes, making this an exciting time to join and play a key role in driving engineering performance and delivering site improvement projects. As Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Leading, developing and motivating the engineering team. Delivering engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with Production, Technical and Operations teams to improve site performance. Managing engineering budgets, contractors and spare parts where required. Ensuring all engineering activities comply with health & safety and food safety standards. Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. Experience managing or supervising an engineering team. Proven experience delivering engineering or capital projects. A recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) is desirable.
