Maintenance Engineer
£45,000-£50,000 per annum | Permanent | Full-time
Newark | Day shift, Monday-Friday | On-site
Family-run manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production machinery and minimise downtime.
Key duties:
Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
Breakdown response and fault finding
Mechanical repairs and root-cause analysis
Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains and pneumatic systems
Industrial processing, shredding, screening and material-handling equipment
Welding, fabrication and fitting
Spare parts management
Supporting safe working and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Strong mechanical maintenance experience
Manufacturing/production background preferred
Welding and fabrication skills
Good fault-finding and fitting ability
Electrical experience desirable
Full driving licence
Practical, reliable and self-motivated
Monday-Friday day shift. Weekend work and out-of-hours call-outs may be required and are paid separately.
