The successful candidate will ideally be dual-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance and have experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics, aerospace, automotive, precision engineering or similar environment.
The Role
- Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fault finding and replacement of PLCs, motors and inverters
- Working on both single and three-phase electrical systems
- Electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, testing and alarm systems
- Maintaining and repairing conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems and production machinery
- Fabricating and producing replacement repair parts where required
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- A relevant electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+
- Experience working with single and three-phase electrical systems
- Experience within a foundry environment would be advantageous
