Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 3-shift rotation - 2 weeks earlies, 2 weeks nights, 2 weeks lates

I'm currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Peterborough.
This is a hands-on maintenance role where you'll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and helping minimise downtime across the site.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives and control systems
- Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtimeWork closely with production and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to site standards
About You
- Electrical bias maintenance background
- Ideally Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification
- Previous experience working within FMCG, food, packaging or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Comfortable working on both electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters/drives etc.
- Happy working a rotating 3-shift pattern
