Newark | Day shift, Monday-Friday | On-site
Family-run manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production machinery and minimise downtime.
Key duties
- Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
- Breakdown response and fault finding
- Mechanical repairs and root-cause analysis
- Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains and pneumatic systems
- Industrial processing, shredding, screening and material-handling equipment
- Welding, fabrication and fitting
- Spare parts management
- Supporting safe working and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience
- Manufacturing/production background preferred
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Good fault-finding and fitting ability
- Electrical experience desirable
- Full driving licence
- Practical, reliable and self-motivatedMonday-Friday day shift. Weekend work and out-of-hours call-outs may be required and are paid separately.
