Field Service Engineer

Job Description

• Aid in the installation, service and maintenance of our wide range of security equipment.
• Happy to stay and work away on a regular basis.
• Able to complete electronic service call sheets on a tablet / phone, these sheets need to be completed on every visit and contain lots of important details.
• Ability to conduct site surveys and compile a detailed report.
• The ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, although full training will be provided for our specific requirements.
• Some foreign travel may be available but not compulsory.
• Generally this role is home based but some staying away will be required for this role. especially in the Northen Team.
• Weekends and occasional night working will form part of this role.
• Call Out Rota South East 1 in 6
• Call Out Rota North and Midlands 1 in 4

Experience/Skills/Quals

• Preferably time served in electrical / controls / mechanical apprenticeship, candidate with previous field service / engineering experience would be considered in the absence of an apprenticeship.
• Be self-motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.

• Package: Mobile Phone, Tools, PPE
• Salary: 41,600 in Southeast
• 40,000 in Leeds / Wakefield area
• O/T or Shift Allowance : TAAT: Paid after 40hr week door to door, first 4hrs on a Saturday.Total: 45,000 - 50,000 OTE

• Hours: 40 Shift Pattern: DaysHolidays: 22 + stats
• Other: Callouts paid x2 after 5pm, Callout Rota 120 standby
