We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in the Coalville area. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi skilled engineer to join a busy production environment, carrying out a combination of electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
The Role:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and fault find electrical and mechanical issues.
- Respond to breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise productivity.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with both preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working a Panama shift pattern.
