We are recruiting for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join a market-leading organisation that provides critical safety solutions across multiple industries. Based in Maidstone (Dartford initially) and offering a salary of up to £32,000, this is a superb opportunity to join a growing and collaborative supply chain team in a permanent, office-based role. You’ll be responsible for managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and reporting, while taking ownership of a key product line. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage daily purchasing requisitions and ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.
- Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Maintain accurate system records, including open receipts and stock levels.
- Lead the procurement and supply chain processes for a core product, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Create and analyse reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills with experience creating and interpreting reports.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Manufacturing background is desirable.
