Property Area Manager – Billericay, Essex – £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Property Area Manager to join a respected residential property management firm with over 20 years of experience in the sector. With a portfolio of 35+ blocks and a commitment to professional excellence, the company operates in line with RICS Codes of Practice and is an ARMA-regulated business. The role is remote/field-based, covering Billericay and surrounding areas, offering a salary of up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring compliance with lease terms, RICS standards, and ARMA guidelines.
  • Coordinate maintenance and emergency works to ensure properties remain safe and well-maintained.
  • Liaise with leaseholders, directors, and residents, handling queries and attending AGMs/residents\’ meetings.
  • Manage budgets, service charges, and Section 20 consultations for major works.
  • Supervise contractors and follow up on new business leads within the area.

What Experience is Required

  • Strong background in block or residential property management, ideally with knowledge of Section 20 processes.
  • Familiarity with RICS and ARMA standards within leasehold property management.
  • Full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills.

Salary & Benefits
