CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic, rapidly growing business based near Poole. This is a varied, fast-moving role supporting the Financial Controller, focused on delivering accurate finance operations while driving automation and smarter ways of working.
Duties
- Assist with monthly management accounts
- Handle high-volume accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
- Prepare and check payroll data
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Support cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and year-end close
Required Skills
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of AP, payroll, and general ledger
- Experience with VAT returns and management accounts
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, modelling)
- Problem-solver with an interest in automation and AI
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
