Salary £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established international manufacturing group in the chemicals sector. This is a permanent role based in Nottingham, with hybrid working available, paying £60,000 - £80,000 plus benefits. You'll be a key member of the UK management team. You'll lead financial reporting and control, advise the business on commercial decisions and help drive profitable growth. You'll report to the Group Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the UK Managing Director. It's a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to make a real impact on the performance and development of a UK business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Run the UK month-end close and produce the monthly management accounts
Take ownership of statutory accounts, VAT, corporation tax and environmental compliance returns, and lead the external audit
Drive budgets and forecasts, and work with the operations and sales teams to improve profitability
Manage product costing, stock accounting, cash flow, working capital and credit control
Manage, coach and develop one finance team member while delivering process improvement projects
What Experience is Required
At least 5 years' financial management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience
Strong leadership and analytical skills. Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Power BI, or in FMCG or chemicals, would be a plus
Salary & Benefits
£60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience, plus a pension scheme, hybrid working and the chance to play a central role in the growth of the UK business.
Location
Nottingham, with hybrid working available. Within easy commuting distance of Derby, Loughborough, Mansfield, Beeston, Long Eaton, Hucknall and Newark.
