CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a successful, well-established logistics and distribution business based near Newmarket.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly payroll, ensuring accurate processing of timesheets, statutory payments and pension contributions.
  • Submit PAYE information, produce payroll reports and resolve employee payroll queries.
  • Process purchase ledger invoices, supplier payments, reconciliations and petty cash.
  • Raise sales invoices, post customer receipts and support credit control activities.
  • Assist with month-end finance processes and maintain accurate financial records.
  • What Experience is Required
  • Previous experience in payroll together with sales and purchase ledger duties.
  • Good knowledge of HMRC regulations, pensions and statutory payments.
  • Experience using Sage Payroll, Sage 50 or similar accounting software.
