An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and family-owned business based in Bury. Established in 2003, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service across Lancashire and Yorkshire and represents several leading automotive brands. This full-time office-based role will support the busy Accounts Team and would suit a detail-oriented individual with previous accounts experience and strong systems knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations and posting daily bank entries
  • Allocation of sales ledger receipts and vehicle payments
  • Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
  • Managing supplier statements and account queries
  • Supporting the wider Accounts team with general finance administration

What Experience is Required:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping position
  • Good Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Experience using Pinewood Pinnacle, Kerridge or previous motor trade experience would be desirable
