CV Screen is recruiting for a German-speaking Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing international media and advertising business based in Farringdon, London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the finance operations of a fast-expanding European market while working closely with senior finance leaders. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including supplier payments, invoicing and credit control.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process staff expenses, company credit cards and support financial reporting requirements.
- Contribute to audit preparation, VAT reporting and other finance-related compliance activities.
What Experience is Required
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Accounting qualification or degree with a minimum of 3 years' accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills with experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
