CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a wellâestablished manufacturing business based in Bridgend. This is a fantastic officeâbased opportunity offering a salary of ÂŁ45,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The successful candidate will take ownership of strategic sourcing across UK and international markets, leading a small buying team and ensuring continuity of supply. Our client is a longâstanding organisation with a strong market presence, employing several hundred staff and supplying highâquality products into demanding sectors, with a clear focus on quality, value and sustainability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the procurement function, managing strategic sourcing activities across domestic and international suppliers
- Negotiate commercial terms to secure best value, quality and delivery performance
- Drive cost savings, forecasting and budget ownership across key spend areas
- Build strong supplier relationships while identifying and onboarding new suppliers
- Work collaboratively with finance, planning and production teams to support business objectives
What Experience is Required
- Proven procurement experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing environments
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience managing or mentoring team members and working with budgets
