An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a mission-driven, international not-for-profit organisation tackling global health and sustainability challenges. This is a fully remote, part-time role, ideally suited to a finance professional with experience in the charity or non-profit sector. Offering a pro-rata salary of circa £28,000 FTE, the role supports the organisation's finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within a small, impactful team. Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including processing invoices and expense claims
- Support the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle, including budget tracking
- Assist with preparation for audits and financial reporting to funders
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and charity sector regulations
What Experience is Required
- Previous finance experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Proficiency in financial software (Xero or similar) and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting
