We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design and scale backend systems, helping to build automated solutions for regulatory reporting and risk platforms. You will play a key role in developing data pipelines, improving system architecture, and turning complex financial requirements into reliable, production-grade software.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain Python backend services and data pipelines
- Build automation workflows for reporting and data processing
- Work with financial datasets (CSV, Excel, APIs, databases)
- Ensure code quality through reviews and best practices
- Contribute to system architecture and scalability
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong Python development experience
- Solid understanding of data structures and software design
- Experience with backend systems or data pipelines
- Ability to review and improve code
IDEAL SKILLS
- Experience with Airflow or similar tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub
- Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
- Experience with Excel automation (pandas, openpyxl)
- Exposure to financial or risk concepts
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Salary up to 80k + Discretionary bonus
