Electrical Engineer
Location: Near Glastonbury | Salary: £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering company based near Glastonbury. Offering a competitive salary of £55,000 and a generous benefits package, this hybrid role (50% office-based, 50% field-based) provides the perfect balance between technical work and on-site engagement. The company has over 15 years of industry expertise, employs over 80 staff, and is widely respected for its innovative solutions within the environmental and infrastructure sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Designing and developing bespoke electrical and control systems

Overseeing panel build and wiring activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications

Creating and reviewing electrical schematics and layout drawings

Supervising on-site integration, installation, and commissioning of systems

Supporting junior engineers and acting as the competent NICEIC representative
What Experience is Required

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering with NICEIC certification

Proven experience in electrical design, commissioning, and maintenance, ideally within water or wastewater sectors

Full UK driving licence
