An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join a leading accountancy firm in Swindon. This hybrid role offers a fantastic salary of £45,000, alongside excellent benefits. The position will involve both audit and accounts preparation across commercial and Charity/Not-for-Profit sectors. This is an excellent chance to develop your career in a growing office, with ample opportunities for progression. The role is hybrid, with four days based in the office in Swindon and one day working from home.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver audit and accounts assignments for a wide variety of clients, including charities, not-for-profits, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations with supporting analysis.
- Lead and assist with audit assignments, including planning, budgeting, and conducting analytical reviews.
- Supervise, delegate, and review audit work completed by junior team members.
- Communicate effectively and deliver timely information to clients, ensuring their needs are met.
What Experience is Required:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with at least a few years of practice experience.
- Experience in or a strong desire to work within the charity and not-for-profit sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary of £45,000, depending on experience.
- 22 days holiday (increasing annually to 25), plus bank holidays.
